Elementary KOR courses (KOR 201 & 202) will be offered online during summer term II 2020. Anyone can register, as there is no senior or graduate student restriction on summer KOR registration. KOR 201 [Elementary Korean I]

Credit: 5 hours
First semester of Korean for students without any background of the Korean language, starting from the Korean alphabet (Hangul) and learning basic grammar, vocabulary, and commonly used expressions, to achieve beginning level of speaking, listening, reading, writing, and basic grammar skills in Korean.
KOR 202 [Elementary Korean II]
- Date: July 13 to August 6
Credit: 5 hours
Continuation of KOR 201, and second semester of first year Korean. Students learn basic grammar, vocabulary, and commonly used expressions by practicing conversations and reading conversation based texts, to achieve beginning-intermediate levels of speaking, listening, reading, and writing in the Korean language.
