The Japanese language program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) offers language courses of four levels from elementary to fourth-year.  While each focusing on particular skill areas, all courses aim at developing comprehensive language ability that enables culturally-appropriate behaviors and communication.   • The Korean placement test will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. in Room G27 of the Foreign Languages Building. The Japanese placement test will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 at 12:00 noon in Room G23 of the Foreign Languages Building.
